Microsoft buys LinkedIn for $26.2 bn

On June 13, 2016 Microsoft has announced to acquire LinkedIn for a huge amount of 26.2 billion US dollars on its official blog.

LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with 433+ million users worldwide. It was founded 13 years back and is a benchmark of economic growth for the world.
According to the press release of Microsoft it has acquired LinkedIn for $26.2 bn  at a $196 per stake rate. This all payment will be done in cash and the transaction will be completed till this financial year.

Jeff Weiner will retain his seat as the Chief Executive Officer of LinkedIn as said by Satya Nadella, CEO Microsoft.
On June 13, 2016 8.45 am Pacific Time Microsoft and LinkedIn will host a Joint Conference with the investors to talk about the acquisition, The Link to conference is
